Learn how to navigate the TEXA IDC5 software, read live data, and perform live tests on your trucks. By the end of this class, you’ll be able to use the TXT Multihub, successfully navigate TEXA IDC5 software, read and clear fault codes, monitor live data, and much more.
Cojali Jaltest
Learn how to navigate the Jaltest software, read live data, and perform real tests on your trucks. By the end of this class, you’ll be able to successfully navigate the software, read and clear fault codes, monitor live data, perform bi-directional commands and so much more.
Starting and Charging
This course will cover the starting and charging systems of medium and heavy-duty trucks. You will learn how the starting and charging systems work, and how to diagnose and correct common starting and charging malfunctions.
• Identify and understand the components of the vehicle’s starting and charging systems.
• Troubleshoot starting and charging systems and perform maintenance checks.
• Select and maintain the correct battery for your vehicle.
• Understand the different circuit types and their components in the starting and charging systems.
Aftertreatment & Emissions
Since 2007, the EPA has imposed restrictions requiring every on-highway diesel vehicle to have some type of aftertreatment system to clean the exhaust expelled by diesel engines. Unfortunately, these systems have high failure rates and rely on the health and functionality of the engine, ultimately making it challenging to diagnose these failures and find the root cause of it. In this class, you’ll learn how understanding the interaction between upstream engine issues and aftertreatment system issues can quickly get you to the root cause.
